ENAR surveys on monitoring ethnic diversity in the workplace
In 2010, ENAR’s expert group on promoting equality in employment will address the issue of monitoring and benchmarking concretely the situation of ethnic and religious minorities in employment to ensure progression in the race towards equality and prosperity. This pioneering initiative started in 2009 and brings together four major multinational companies (SODEXO, L'OREAL, IBM, ADECCO Group), trade unions, EU institutions, national governments and the anti-racist civil society. Using the multiple stakeholder approach, the expert group aims to assess whether internal existing monitoring tools, particularly in relation to migrants and ethnic and religious minorities, are effective and suggests options for addressing the limitations identified. As part of the preparatory work, ENAR has designed surveys for the different stakeholders to complete. The aim is to identify good practices, to compare the situation in different countries and to compare perspectives from different stakeholders on the issue. Please complete the surveys and disseminate them among your networks. The surveys will be open until 3 November 2010.
