First formal session, Palais Wilson, Geneva, 11 - 15 October 2004
The Committee agreed on the provisional guidelines regarding the form and contents of initial reports to be submitted by States parties under article 73 of the Convention and decided to call on the States Parties in writing to present their first report. Their working methods (including towards the NGOs) will be discussed during their 25-29 April 2005 meeting that will be held in Geneva. A second meeting is scheduled in December 2005 during which country reports may be considered. No country reports were received to date.
