El Alto Comisionado de Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR) se creó en 1951 para proteger y asistir a los refugiados y buscar soluciones duradera para ellos. En 1993 se funda la Asociación España con ACNUR, con el fin de dar a conocer en nuestro país la tarea del ACNUR. España con ACNUR difunde la realidad y necesidades de las poblaciones refugiadas mediante campañas de sensibilización y educación.
